LITTLE SANT JORDI

Hello everyone!

Last Monday, April 23th,  was a FANTASTIC DAY; it was Sant Jordi day, in which books and flowers are everywhere.
It's our favourite day of the year and we were HAPPY, HAPPY with our FOUR published stories.

El pasado lunes 23 de abril fue un día fantástico; era Sant Jordi, un día en que libros y rosas están por todas partes. Es nuestro día preferido y estábamos muy contentos con nuestras cuatro historias publicadas.

And it was a fantastic day because, with our friend Javi, we presented our fourth story "Little and the spring" in front of  a special audience: the kindergarten kids of a school in Sabadell. 
Y fue un día fantástico porque, con nuestro amigo Javi, presentamos nuestra cuarta historia "Little and the spring" ante un público muy especial: los niños y niñas de infantil de un colegio de Sabadell.

Before the story began, Javi introduced some key words to the children in order to make them more understabdable the story; after that , he sang "Springtime" and the children enjoyed a lot, so did us.

Antes de que la historia empezara, Javi presentó algunas palabras clave para que los niños entendieran mejor la historia; después de eso cantó la preciosa canción "Springtime" y los niños y nosotros disfrutamos mucho.

We also were HAPPY because our friend Bonnie, the Easter bunny, came and visited us. She decorated a table beautifully for the special day. THANK YOU  Bonnie!
También estábamos contentos porque nuestra amiga Bonnie, la especial coneja de Pascua, vino a visitarnos y decoró maravillosamente una mesa para este día tan especial. GRACIAS Bonnie.

Two DAYS before Sant Jordi's day, my friend Javi and I went to a very special place in Rubí: "Lectors, al tren!" a books place, where you can go and take a look to the books sitting in some armchairs, you can look watch the original paintings of different artists that they have hanging on the walls and, of course, you can buy books.
We went there to see the presentation of a children book called "Siblings" by Rocío Bonilla. She was there and she drew two illustrations in a few minutes. It was fantastic!Dos días antes de Sant Jordi, mi amigo Javi y yo fuimos a un sitio muy especial de Rubí : "Lectors, al tren!", un espacio de libros donde puedes sentarte en uno de sus sillones mientras ojeas los libros, puedes mirar las ilustraciones originales que tienen colgadas en las paredes o, por supuesto, comprar libros.Fuimos allí a ver a la ilustradora/autora Rocio Bonilla que presentaba su libro "Hermanos". Mientras la cuentacuentos explicaba la historia, ella dibujo dos ilustraciones en unos minutos. Fue genial.

My friend Javi was HAPPY, HAPPY. 


My friend Javi bought another book of hers called "Això no és una selva" and Rocio dedicated it to him. Javi was happy, so did I.
Mi amigo Javi estaba contento porque se compró otro libro de ella "Això no és una selva" y se lo dedicó.




I was HAPPy, HAPPY too.



And to end these words, another SURPRISE, because in "Lectors, al tren!" we found a suitcase of local authors with our stories!
Y para acabar estas palabras, otra sorpresa porque allí, en "Lectors, al tren!", nos encontramos una maleta con libros de autores locales y estaban nuestras historias.
